Pain, Decay & Death

Pain, Decay & Death
Pain is trying to teach you something.
The body will decay.
Death will happen.

Pain, decay & death are coming.
You might as well prepare for them.
If you prepare for them, their power over you will be minimal.
Fighting reality is tiresome.

Ego & pleasure intensify pain, decay & death.
Ego & pleasure steal your life.

Ego tries to create ways to avoid death: rebirth, life after death, savior, technologies, etc.

There is nothing to live for.
There is nothing to die for.
Just live until you die.

"What old tree doesn't have a broken branch?" - Indian Saying
But yet it still has plenty of growing to do!

You can endure more than you think.
Life is more tenacious than you think.

It's hard for people to let go of their youth.
Learn to transition well.

The Ultimate Methods

The Ultimate Methods

If it works, do it.
If it doesn't work, don't do it.
Pay attention, so you can learn the difference.
Did you notice the humilate of this method?

First, evaluate where you are.
Then, make baby steps in the right direction.
Allow big steps to happen on their own.
This is the tree principle applied.

Empty your mind of everything that you can.
Make the best decision you can based on the relative facts.
Learn from your experiences.

Live your life,
Be prepared &
Let it happen.
Letting it happen is God's part.

It All Boils Down to Growth - FWG - BillyDKY

Preliminary Stuff

a. I'm going to explain FWG with a video per day for the next couple weeks.

2. Basic sell of FWG

a. What is the grass doing? Growing. What are the trees doing? Growing. What have you been doing since conception? Growing. What has scientific knowledge been doing since antiquity? Growing. What has the universe been doing since the big bang forward? Growing. All of life boils down to GROWTH.

b. Just investigate your life, what has been the core concept surrounding it?

i. It is may not be obvious at first but if you really think about it. It's growth.

3. What else could life be about if not growth?

a. How about Jesus?

i. It just doesn't make sense.

b. Growth makes sense.

i. It brings everything together.

(1) Think about what great truths in science do. They bring things together & opens new doors of growth.

ii. Notice, Jesus divides people. He even says, "I'm come to take a family of five & turning two against three." Not smart nor wise. That will get you crucified.

c. Occams' Razor

i. The simplest explanation is usually the correct one.

(1) How simple is growth?

(a) Extremely simple, practical, easy to understand & visible with your own eyes; not to mention FWG produces results.

4. Diagram - E - G - P - T

5. Again, over the next couple weeks, I'm going to be going through the nine principles & explaining one per day.

a. I have a FWG brochure out there. It's the first link in the information section of this video. If you really like FWG & want to see it grow, here is your chance to pass some brochures out.

b. If you want to know more about the Following the Way of Growth, FWG for short. It is the second link in the information section of this video.

c. Over the next week or two, I will be revising the blog to give it a fresh take on my understanding of it. I first did that blog back in September of 2009 when I first discovered FWG. Now, I'm ready to do a better take on it. So if you really like the blog, it will be a fresh take over the next couple weeks.

d. After I'm done updating the blog, I will put a PDF of the blog out there so you can download it, print it & read it at your leisure.

e. Someone asked if they could do an article on FWG, I said fine but just give me credit for the system. Just be fair & I will be fair. My primary goal is to have my base needs met & then it's about getting the message out.

f. I'm available to speak to any groups if you would like me to do that. Pay the expenses & I will come.

g. Following the Way of Growth is on Facebook too. Just type Following the Way of Growth in the Facebook's search engine.

h. I'm creating a playlist for this mini series of videos.

6. The next video will be Apply Yourself. It should be tomorrow or the next day. I'm moving so who knows.

7. Until the next video, later folks

Apply Yourself - FWG -- The Willingness to Change

Apply Yourself - FWG

1. You have to be willing to apply yourself to change. None of the other eight principles will help you without the willingness to change.

2. It's like having a seed in your hand but not willing to plant it.

a. I understand your hesitation, because it took me six months of progress before I was willing to commit myself fully to the path.

3. If you aren't willing to change, then ask yourself, "Why aren't you willing to change?"

a. Are you protecting something?
i. Are you protecting some egotistical thing?
ii. Are you protecting some pleasure indulgence?
(1) Attachments are using things beyond their usefulness.
iii. Whatever it is it ain't worth it. Let it go.

b. Are you aware there is a problem?

c. Most people have to hit rock bottom before they are willing to change. I know I did. So if you're just watching, fine; & when you hit rock bottom, you'll know what to do.

4. FWG is about thriving, not martyrhood.

a. It's about giving up things that are holding you back from thriving which are yourself (ego) & the pursuit of pleasures. b. FWG isn't just about fulfilling your survival needs, but fulfilling your needs that help you thrive.

i. My struggle with this week on survival & thriving.

c. Tomato plant example

d. Martyr woman

5. You know FWG isn't a cult or crazy talk, because it's all so simple & common sense. Plus, I link it back to reality too much.

6. Until you're willing to die to yourself (ego), you aren't going any where with FWG.

a. Until you love the truth more than anything else (including yourself), you're not ready for FWG, not really.

b. Everybody it seems has too many lines in the sand that they are unwilling to cross. It's just a bunch of ego lines in the their minds.

7. Apply Yourself is the first principle because without the willingness to change. None of the other principles really work. Even in the questioning of your ego to get started, you're still applying yourself.

8. Believe it or not, a lot of people use their problems as a crutch for not trying. Without actually trying, you can say something like, "I could have done that or I could have been somebody or I'm smarter than them; I just never got a chance."

a. All 100% egotistical bull crap. Nothing but a egotistical cope out! They are trapped by their egos & don't know it.
